30th Annual ACCED-I Conference

Account representative, Troy Wruck, will be attending the 30th Annual ACCED-I (Association of Collegiate Conference and Event Directors-International) Conference in Louisville, KY, March 21-24, 2010. The ACCED-I represents over 1,600 campus professionals who design and plan conferences and special events on college campuses. The conference is a great networking environment and offers a variety of special interest sessions. If you're planning to attend, we’d love for you to stop by the EventPro booth, Booth #5, and say hi! It's always a pleasure to connect face-to-face with existing clients and old acquaintances.

EventPro Manual Update

Don’t forget to consult the EventPro User Manual for the software help you need. The manual has just been updated to be current with Version 6.10.1.694. If you use Online Help, you will automatically access the latest version of the manual. If you use Local Help in the program, go to the program now, click on the Help menu and select Download and Update Local Help.

Once you have opened the manual, refer to the section called “What’s New in Help”.  It will direct you to the sections of the manual that explain how to use the latest new and enhanced features.

Software Updates
To download the latest Software Update, which includes the New Features, Enhancements and Fixes listed below, log in to EventPro Support. Click on the Downloads tab and click on the EventPro Install V6.10 (6.10.1.694) link.
In order to access Software Updates, you must have an annual Upgrade Protection Plan. If your Upgrade Protection Plan has lapsed, contact our Sales Department at Sales@EventPro.net or call (306) 975-3737 (Press 1). They can provide you with information on how to reactivate your Upgrade Protection Plan so that you can continue to get the maximum advantage out of EventPro Software.

  • Event categories can now be assigned a set of account codes that will override any specific item account codes when an event is assigned to that category

  • The location selection grids are now able to be sorted in the Resource Copy Wizard

  • Error occurring when editing a Communication record in the main Communication screen
  • Error occurring when trying to merge 'Accommodation Reservation' fields for an attendee
  • The Accommodation Room Multi Edit was displaying the wrong tax information in some cases
  • When emailing a report, some of the default values for Event and Accomm Rsv No were not being set properly
  • The ‘Banquet Event Order’ report was not printing in the correct order when using the default sort
  • Event Booths were not being updated when using the ‘Update Events’ option in the Setup Resource Item area

  • The ‘Location Setup Comments’ and ‘Location General Comments’ options in the New Copy Booking Wizard were not working properly
  • Error occurring in the ‘Location Availability’ report when filtering for a day of the week and printing to screen
  • Street addresses of more than one line were printing over the city of a company in the ‘Event List’ report
  • The Company/Contact filter was not including null values when using the ‘does not contain’ or ‘does not equal’ options
  • When printing labels for selected Exhibitors, the program was printing labels for all Exhibitors, not just the selected ones
  • Users who didn’t have ‘Access Event’ rights were able to get to the Event screen from other areas of the program
