Software Updates
To download the latest Software Update, which includes the New Features, Enhancements and Fixes listed below, log in to EventPro Support. Click on the Downloads tab and click on the EventPro Install V6.8 (6.8.1.659) link.
In order to access Software Updates, you must have an annual Upgrade Protection Plan. If your Upgrade Protection Plan has lapsed, contact our Sales Department at Sales@EventPro.net or call (306) 975-3737 (Press 1). They can provide you with information on how to reactivate your Upgrade Protection Plan so that you can continue to get the maximum advantage out of EventPro Software.

  • Added the ability to Shift-Select checkboxes in a check list box
  • Added Booked and Available columns to the Attendee and Exhibitor registration areas
  • Added a ‘NumEvents’ field to the ‘Customer Utilization Summary’ report
Enhancements

  • The Accommodation area will now remember what reservation was selected in the main Finance area (if an invoice that is linked to an Accommodation Reservation is selected)
  • Added an ‘Add Another’ prompt when adding resources to multiple locations
Fixes

  • Pressing ‘F10’ would not save the changes to the Comments area for any Event Detail Edit screen
  • Error occurring when doing an Event Mail Merge
  • User Fields could not be exported
  • The Comments tab of the Event Booth and Event Booth Details areas were different than the Event Exhibitor Booth and Event Exhibitor Booth Details areas, causing loss of data when assigning Exhibitors to booths
  • The ‘Event Exhibitor Confirmation’ sheet was printing notes incorrectly
  • The ‘Reservation Daily Usage’ report did not allow printing of reservations that were not checked in yet
  • Packages marked as unavailable were still showing up when selecting packages for an event
  • The ‘Event Statement’ report was not including taxes on credits
  • When creating a new booking, and selecting or creating a company from the Contact Find screen, the company was not defaulted in the new Company Contact record

  • When assigning an email to a communication, the communication date was using the sent time from the email instead of the delivered time
  • When using the ‘EventLocationTotal’ pipeline on any reports, the ‘TotalLocPreTax’ and ‘TotalLocIncTax’ fields were displaying zeroes instead of the correct information
  • A prompt has been added to let the user know that if using Simple MAPI, you cannot use the ‘New From Email’ option under communications
  • The Synchronize Email screen would freeze up if you clicked in the body of an html email
  • Error occurring when viewing an email from the Synchronize Email screen and clicking a .msg attachment
  • Error occurring when customizing the ‘Banquet Event Order By Day’ report by adding a field from the ‘EventDayTotal’ pipeline and filtering for a date range
  • The ‘Default subject format for event report communications’ System Setting was not being respected when printing from the preview screen
  • Attachments were not visible when going into a communication by pressing the ‘View’ button on the Communication grid (Enterprise only)
  • The ‘Inactive’ flag was not being saved on the Company and Contact filters
  • When selecting the ‘Create a new enquiry for selected company’ option in the New Booking wizard, the enquiry would not copy over the event start and event end dates
  • When adding a new Accommodation Restriction, the checkboxes for Calendar Visibility were not selected by default
  • When adding a report to a communication from anywhere other than the main Communication area, custom reports that were not based on any EventPro reports were not shown
  • Unassigned staff were not printing on the Confirmation Sheet in some instances
  • Error occurring when updating a database from before Version 6.8.0.650
  • The Booking Grid was not displaying overlapping events in Day View properly
  • When printing to email from the Print Preview screen, the attached report wasn’t named properly
  • Error occurring when using the ‘Download and Update Local Help’ option from the Help menu
  • The Parent Company field was not being deleted correctly when clearing it from the Company edit screen
