This section will describe some of the new additions to Help, which will help you use EventPro's new and enhanced features.  To see a complete list of changes in EventPro, click Help | What's New in EventPro's main menu.

System Settings
oSelect default users that will fill the Event Roles in Event System Settings
oThe new Check All Items to Copy option in Event System Settings allows you to choose whether you want all items selected by default when copying an event
oChoose to not apply default taxes to deposit and credit invoice items in Accounting System Settings
oFinance One has been added to the export options in the Accounting System Settings
oChoose whether you want to receive a Prompt before sending an Email in Communications System Settings
oChoose the Default Date Format for date merge fields in communications in Communication System Settings
oChoose whether you want to save images in communications by default or receive a prompt in Communication System Settings
oSet default times for Location and Group/Global Restrictions under Location Restriction Options in General System Settings
oIn General System Settings, set the default count to 1 when selecting items from catering and beverage configurations
Status Codes
oYou can now define custom colors for the text and background of Status Codes
General Lookup Tables
oThe new Cities lookup table allows you to store a list of cities to select from when entering contact address information
oYou can now set Company Discounts for Miscellaneous items in the General Lookup Tables
oEvent Categories can now be assigned an Account Override Group, which will override any specific item account codes when an event is assigned to the event category
Locations
oYou can now copy location rates from one location to multiple locations
oWhen applying hourly rental charges to a location, there is an option to round up the duration when calculating location rental charges
oYou can mark Location Setup Types as unavailable if they are no longer needed, but you want to leave them in place if already used for existing events
User Rights
oThe option that let you choose whether to "Allow Users to accept Full Conflicts" has been moved to the User Rights | Access Events area, which allows you to set the option on a per-user basis
Booking Calendar
oThere are several new options for the display text of grid cells in the Booking Calendar Preferences
oThe Booking Calendar now also displays the Event Category and Event Sub Category in the event information popups
Booking Wizard
oYou now set the Default Status of event locations in the Location Defaults screen of the Booking Wizard, which allows you to set location status when appending locations to an existing booking
oYou can also set the Default Attendance of event locations in the Location Defaults screen of the Booking Wizard
oThe new Accommodations tab in the final screen of the Booking Wizard allows you to create accommodation reservations when booking the event
Event Maintenance
oResources: There is now an Event Resources tab under the detail tab of the Event Maintenance screen.  The Event Resources tab allows you to review all resources for the entire event.
oCatering:
When adding a Catering Configuration to an event in previous versions of EventPro, once you selected a catering Item Code in the Catering [New] or [Edit] window, you could no longer select a different Group; you had to Cancel out of the window and begin again.  Now, the Group drop-down list is accessible even after you select an Item Code, so that if you change your mind, you can select a different Group.
When creating a Catering Configuration, you can Pre-select Catering Items so that they are selected by default when using the configuration in an event
oBeverages:
When creating a Beverage Configuration, you can Pre-select Beverage Items so that they are selected by default when using the configuration in an event
There is a new Cash Bar (Flat Charge) option when creating Beverage Configurations
Finance
oYou can now recreate a voided payment in order to re-use the receipt number of a previous payment
oWhen you create Deposit Invoices in the Invoice Wizard, you can now apply payments
Attendees
oLink Documents directly to an event attendee
Exhibitors
oLink Documents directly to an event exhibitor
oSave any changes to an exhibitor company in the company/contact database with the new Save & Update Company button
oThe new Find button can help you find booths in the Booths selection grid and when assigning booths to exhibitors
Enquiries
oSet Start and End Times on an Enquiry, which can be carried over when selecting an Enquiry during the Booking Wizard
oSet the GL Acct Code and Cost Center for an enquiry, which will be copied to an event created from the enquiry
oYou can now use the Calculator when entering an Estimated Value for an enquiry
Companies and Contacts
oLink Documents directly to a company or contact in your Company/Contact database
oIf you have duplicate contacts and have added records to both, you can now Merge Company Contacts
Accommodations
oYou can now edit Setup Room Comments directly form the Accommodations Calendar
oThe Accommodations Calendar now displays the Company Name of the room reservation in the cell text
oYou can now Sort the records in the Selection Grid above the Accommodations Calendar
oThe Accommodations tab of the Event Maintenance screen will be red if there is an accommodation reservation linked to the event
Actions
oThe new Complete button allows you to complete Actions with one click, without having to go into the Edit window
oIf you have more than one "Completed" status for Actions, you can choose the correct status when completing the action with the new Complete button or in the Action Reminder window
oThe Actions List View will remember your filter selections for Assigned User, Status and Category when viewing actions
oThe new Go To Event button on the Reminders screen allows you to quickly view the related event in the Event Maintenance screen
Communications & Word Processor
oMore tables have been added to the Mail Merge Dialog so that you can add even more Merge Fields to your documents
oYou can now set default for how letters will be attached (PDF or RTF) to an outgoing email communication
Messaging
oThere is now an option to send message notifications from a specific email address instead of the email address of the user who activates the notification
Reports
oChoose whether you want to Show Related Locations in the Week Calendar Summary by Location report
oBy selecting the new Hide Zero Summary Discount option in the Event Confirmation Sheet report, you can hide the discount value in the report summary when the discount equals zero
oRun the Accommodation Reservation Confirmation report for the entire reservation or just one room in the reservation
oMove the Display Fields in Event Calendar reports in order to change the display sequence
oExport multiple custom reports at the same time
oA new option in the Account Group Summary reports displays the tax total in a column of the report
General
oFirst Name and Last Name fields throughout the program have been increased in length
