When you start EventPro, it displays the Application Login screen.

The process of logging in will vary, depending on whether you have the Standard Edition or Enterprise Edition.

1.During installation, four databases were placed in your data folder and can be accessed from the Database drop-down list or by clicking the Find button to the right. Select a database.
a.Sampdata.mdb contains sample data illustrating the many capabilities of EventPro.  If you want to see an example of how EventPro is set up, you can log in using this database and look around at the various screens.  However, once you are ready to set up EventPro for your company, DO NOT use this database.  To set up EventPro for your company, you want to begin with a blank database.
b.Data.mdb is a blank database that, once set up, will contain only information applicable to your own business. If you are ready to begin setting up EventPro for your company, select this database.
c.SysData.mdb will contain system information.  You cannot log in with this database.
d.RptData.mdb will contain all reports, including custom reports.  You cannot log in with this database.
2.Enter your default Username: SUPERVISOR.
3.Enter your default Password: SUPERV.
4. Click OK. The About screen appears.

1.Choose whether you will be using Windows Authentication or SQL Server Authentication.

2.Enter the Server Name and Database.
3.If you are using SQL Server Authentication, also enter a User Name and Password.
4.Below, under Application Login, enter your EventPro User Name and Password.  The defaults will be Username: SUPERVISOR and Password: SUPERV
5.If you are using SQL Server Authentication, select the checkbox if Application Uses Server Login User Name/Password.  The User Name and Password fields will be disabled.
6.Click OK. The About screen appears.
