Set Up Images/Floor Plans on a Location

1.Select Setup | Location | Locations from EventPro’s main menu.

2.In the top selection grid, click to highlight the Location Group that contains the relevant location.  In the middle selection grid, click to highlight the Location to which you want to add an image or floor plan.  In the bottom section of the screen, click on the Images tab.
3.Click the New button located to the right of the bottom grid, across from the Image Tab. The Location Image [New] window appears.

4.Enter the name of the location image in the Image Code field.
5.Enter a description in the Description field. Usually, it will be the same as the Image Code, but you may enter a longer version if you wish.
6.Enter any additional information you would like to record about the image in the Notes field.
7.Click the Edit Image button in the bottom left corner.  The Image Edit window appears. Here, you can either navigate to the image file or scan the image into your computer.
8.Select File | Open (or click the Open icon) or File | Scan (or click the Scan icon). EventPro supports the following image formats: bmp, jpeg, tiff, png, tga, emf and wmf.

9.When you have located the file, click the Open button. The image appears in the Image Edit window.

10.After the image has been loaded, you can use the options in the Image menu to manipulate the image until you are satisfied with its appearance.
11.Click Save in the lower left corner of the Image Edit window.  EventPro returns to the Location Image [New] window.

12.If you are creating a floor plan, enter a number representing Pixels per Foot/Meter in the Image Ratio field.   To determine the pixels per foot or meter, see the instructions below under Determining Pixels per Foot.
13.If you are not satisfied with the image, click the Edit Image button to make changes, or click Clear Image to remove the image.
14.When you are done with the image, click Save.
15.To edit, view or delete images, use the buttons located to the right of the bottom selection grid, across from the Images tab.
