Multi-Editing Exhibitors
If you need to make changes to several exhibitors at the same time (e.g. changing Status or adding Notes), you do not have to individually edit each one. You can use the Multi-Edit function to apply changes to all or multiple exhibitors.
1.
Find the event to which the Exhibitors are attached and open the event in the Event Maintenance screen.
2.
Click on the Exhibitors tab, the View Exhibitors tab and the Exhibitor List-View sub-tab.
3.
If necessary, multi-select the exhibitors you want to edit or set a filter to limit the number of exhibitors visible in the selection grid. See Introduction: Common Function, Setting a Filter to learn how to set a filter.
4.
Click the Detail Options button to the right and select Multi-Edit. The Exhibitor Multi-Edit window will appear. Note that if you multi-select exhibitors and just click the normal Edit button, you will only apply your changes to the last-selected record. Make sure that you use Detail Options | Multi-Edit.
5.
Make your changes, but be careful not to change any distinctive fields, as these changes will overwrite the original values for all of the selected exhibitors. IMPORTANT: If you change the status of an Exhibitor to a “Cancelled” type, EventPro will delete the registration information for the Exhibitor. The Exhibitor Attendees will also be set to “Cancelled”.
6.
Click Save.
7.
The Exhibitor Multi-Edit dialog box will appear. Choose whether you want to apply the changes to Selected Exhibitors or All (Filtered) Exhibitors and click OK. Remember that “All (Filtered)” refers to all of the exhibitors visible in the selection grid.
