Reviewing Account Codes and Taxes

As you work towards finalizing an event and begin billing the customer, you may have to review the charges that have accumulated for the event.

In the Event Maintenance screen, you can easily review information about account codes, taxes and charges relating to the location, customer and resources.

You can locate your event from the Booking Calendar or the Event Maintenance screen.

To review how to find an event, refer to Chapter 3: Event Maintenance, Finding an Event.

1.When viewing your event in the Event Maintenance screen, click on the Detail tab.  You can click on the Location(s) and Day(s) sub-tabs to see a different view of the location(s) associated with the event.

2.The rows in the top selection grid contain brief summaries of information about the location(s).  Use the scroll bar along the bottom of the grid to see all of the information.
3.To view the account codes, taxes and more detailed information for each location, click to highlight the appropriate location in the top selection grid.
4.Click the View button to the right of the selection grid.
5.The Location [View Only] window appears.  Click on the General, Charges, Taxes and Accounts tabs to view the financial information for this event.

6.Click Close when you are finished viewing the information.
7.To edit any of this information, refer to Chapter 3: Event Maintenance, Modify Event Information.

1.When viewing your event in the Event Maintenance screen, click on the Customer tab.  You can click on the Main and Billing sub-tabs to view the different companies and/or contacts, if applicable.
2.Click the View button to the right of the selection grid across from the company.  The Company [View Only] window appears.
3.Click on the General and Taxes tabs to view the financial information for this customer.

4.Click Close when you are finished viewing the information.
5.To edit any of this information, refer to Chapter 3: Event Maintenance, Customer Information.

1.When viewing your event in the Event Maintenance screen, click on the Detail tab.  You can click on the Location(s) and Day(s) sub-tabs to see a different view of the location(s) associated with the event.
2.Click to highlight the appropriate location in the top selection grid.
3.Click on the detail tabs at the bottom of the screen to review the resources used for the location highlighted in the top grid.
4.The selection grid in each tab contains brief summaries of information about the resources.  Use the scroll bar along the bottom of the tab to see all of the information.
5.To view more detailed information for each resource, click to highlight the resource item and click the View button to the right of the bottom tabs.
6.The resource item [View Only] window appears.  Click on the General, Taxes and Accounts tabs to view the financial information for this resource.

7.Click Close when you are finished viewing the information.
8.To edit any of this information, refer to Chapter 3: Event Maintenance, Adding Resources.
