Receiving EventPro Messages
If you choose to use your email program for Messaging (see the Messaging Overview), you will receive messages at your User email address. The instructions below will not apply to you.
If you choose to use the internal messaging system, you can check for your Messages in two ways.
You may have adjusted your settings so that an automatic pop-up window appears at regular intervals, informing you of new or unread messages.

If you click Yes in the dialog, you can review the messages immediately, regardless of which EventPro screen you are working in.

You can view all of the messages by clicking Next Message until the list is completed, or you can just view the current message by clicking Ignore Remaining Messages.

If you ignore any of the messages, you will continue to receive the pop-up notification for them until they are read.

If you view the messages here, they will be marked as read in your Messages Inbox, unless you click the Leave Un-read button for each message.

To reply to the message, click the Reply button. The New Message will contain a copy of the previous email.
To adjust the time interval between automatic pop-ups, select Setup | Users in EventPro's main menu.

Click to highlight the relevant User in the selection grid and click the Edit button.

At the bottom of the Personal Information tab in the User [Edit] window, enter the number of minutes for the Message Check Interval.

If you select 0 (zero), you will not receive any pop-up notification of messages. You will have to manually check your Messages Inbox for new messages.
