Editing a Communication

1.Locate the communication you want to edit.  Remember that you may be able to view the communication in any or all of the Event Maintenance, Enquiries, Company/ Contact, Accommodations, and Communications screens.

Also note that if Communications are linked to events, you can only view those Communications that are linked to events containing at least one location to which you have viewing rights; review Chapter 1: Setting Up EventPro, Step 10: User Rights, Creating User Right Groups: Location Rights.

2.Click to highlight the communication.   Click the appropriate Edit button to the right of the selection grid.
3.The Communication [Edit] window appears.  Make your changes as required.  
4.If you need to change the letter, click the Edit Letter button.
a.The Word Processor opens.
b.Make your changes in the Word Processor window and select File | Save.   Remember that the changes you make here will only be saved in this communication, not the original template in the Letter/Label Templates table.
c.Select File | Close to close the Word Processor.
5.In the Communication [Edit] window, click Save or Save Without Letter, as applicable.
