Invoicing an Event for Rooms

1.If you want to invoice the Event for the room(s), you cannot do so from the Accommodations screen.  You must create these invoices in the Event Maintenance screen or the Accounting | Finance area.
2.Find the related event in the Event Maintenance screen and click on the Finance tab, or go to the Accounting | Finance area
3.There are a variety of ways to create invoices from the Event Maintenance Finance tab, which you can review in Chapter 4: Finance (Invoices/Payments), Invoices and Invoicing in Accounting | Finance.
4.For example, if you create an automatic invoice, you can choose to invoice for Accommodations only by checking the Accommodations box at the beginning of the Invoice Wizard.  The rooms and other charges for the reservation will appear as “AccommodationsItem Types in the invoice.
