Event Categories can now be assigned a set of Account Codes, called an Account Override Group, that will override the account codes for specific items when an event is assigned to the event category.  You may have already created Event Categories above.  if you want to add Override Account Groups, you can define those groups here, and return to the Event Categories section of the General Lookup Tables to assign the account groups to the correct categories.

.Select Setup | General Lookup Tables from EventPro's main menu.  From the drop-down list in the top left corner, select Override Account Groups.
.Click the New button in the upper right corner.
.The Account Override Group [New] window appears.  Enter the Name of the Account Override Group.
.In the Account Overrides area below, there are ten tabs:  Location, Setup, Staffing, Catering, Beverages, Packages, Accommodations, Misc, Attendees, and Exhibitors.  Under each tab, you can select the override Income Account, Expense Account and Department from the drop-down list.  The entries in the drop-down list are pulled from the Accounts and Department Codes you entered in the General Lookup Tables earlier.  If you require an account or department that is not in the drop-down list, return to the Accounts or Department Codes lookup tables to add them.
.Click on the tabs for which you want to enter override account codes and enter the correct Income Account, Expense Account and Department, as applicable.
.When you are finished, click Save.  Continue this process until you have defined all of the Override Account Groups that you think you will need.  You may now need to return to Event Categories to assign the override account groups to the correct categories.
.To Edit, View or Delete these account groups, see Edit, View or Delete General Lookup Tables below.
