Merge Contacts

If you accidentally created duplicate contacts and have added records to both versions of the contact, e.g. actions, communications, enquiries, invoices, etc., you can merge the two  contacts so that all the records are stored under one.

1.Go to the Contact List View tab in the Company/Contact screen.
2.Identify the contacts you want to merge together. Hold down the Ctrl key and click on each contact so that they are all highlighted.
3.Right-click on the contact into which you want to move the other contacts' records. It is important to right-click on the correct contact.  The other contact/s  will have their records moved and be deleted.  Select Merge Contacts.

4.The Confirm dialog appears.  If you are certain that you want to merge the contacts, click Yes.
5.All of the records will be moved into the selected contact's record, and the duplicate contact/s will be deleted.
