1.If you are the first person to log into the database after updating the software, you will probably receive this message:
2.Click Yes to update the database. When the database is updated, you can log back into EventPro and continue using the program.
3.However, if you log in after updating the software and receive the following message, you may need assistance with updating the database.
4.This message indicates that the update installed the data in the wrong place or that your software has been incorrectly moved to a different server. Please contact EventPro Support for assistance.
NOTE: Updating EventPro and Database Rights
Note that in order to update the database after a program update, you will require certain user rights. See Rights to Databases.
If you do not have the appropriate rights, contact your System Administrator or IT Department.
If you are the System Administrator or IT Department in charge of updating the program, and you have the appropriate rights to update the database, you may want to update the database at the end of each update/upgrade process, so that other users do not require additional rights to the database.
