In the Search page, you can search for specific event bookings or bookings of a specific type.
Remember that the settings for this page, including the visibility of the Search button, the results per page and the visibility of the Quick View buttons (Yesterday, Today, etc.) are set up in EPWeb Configuration under General Settings: Search.
1.To search for bookings, enter your search information in whichever of the fields are applicable to your search: Date From, Date To, Category, etc.
2.If you only want to view your own events (i.e. if you are logged in as the company or the main contact for the events), select the Show Own Events Only checkbox.
3.Click Find Bookings. If any bookings match your search criteria, the results will appear below.
4.Click the Reset button to clear your search criteria and results, and to start over.
5.Use the Quick View buttons, such as Last Week and This Week (if they are visible), to quickly set the Date From and Date To. You can enter other information or select from the fields above to further filter the results by Category, Status, etc.
6.If you want to erase any selections from the drop-downs, click the Clear button to the right of the applicable field.
7.In the Search Results, there are three links to the right of each booking: View, Edit, and Cancel. Remember that your ability to view, edit and cancel events will depend on your Online Rights; review Chapter 1: Setting Up EventPro, Step 6: Company/Contact, Entering a New Company: Online Rights. and Entering a New Contact: Online Rights.
Click the View button to display the Event Summary will appear. Scroll down to see all of the information. Note that you will not be able to change any of the information when only viewing the event.
If there is a Payment System set up, you will see the Pay Now button at the bottom. Click the Pay Now button if you wish to make a payment for the event. To review how you set up the online payment gateway, see Configuring EPWeb Version 4: Payment Settings.
If you want to print the Event Summary, click the Print button. The summary will open in another window or tab in your browser, where you can then print it.
When you are done viewing the event information, click Close.
Click the Edit button to open the Booking Wizard for the event. The event's information will be filled in the fields, but you will be able to make changes if:
•the Modify Event Cutoff point has not yet been reached.
Use the Next button to move through the pages of the wizard. This is the same wizard you use when creating a New Booking. For more information about entering event information in this wizard, see Create a New Booking in EPWeb.
When you are done making changes, click Finish at any point in the wizard.
Click the Cancel button to cancel the event. The dialog will warn you that you are about to delete all locations and details for the event, and set the event status to cancelled. Click OK to continuing with cancelling the event.
Remember that you will only be able to cancel the event if the company or contact you are logged in as has the required Online Rights. If you do not, the dialog will warn you that you do not have the proper rights.
