Linking Documents to Events

Under the Documents tab of the Event Maintenance screen, you can store links to documents or store the actual documents themselves (Enterprise/SQL Edition only). Attaching the actual documents is only available with the Enterprise Edition of EventPro. If you do not have the Enterprise Edition, and are interested in upgrading, contact your nearest Sales Department for more information.
If the Documents tab does not appear, check your System Settings, under the General Tab: Tab Visibility.

| 1. | In the Documents tab, click the New button to the right of the screen. |
| 2. | The Document [New] window appears. |
| 3. | Enter a Description of the document. |

| 4. | From the Storage Type drop-down list, choose how you want to store the document: Linked File (stores only the link to the document - Standard or Enterprise) or Embedded File (attaches the actual document - Enterprise only). |
| 5. | Click the ellipsis to the right of the Linked File or Embedded File field to open the Select Attachment window. Find the file and click Open. The path will appear in the Linked File field, or the file will appear in the Embedded File field. To view the document, click the View Document button to the right. |

| 6. | When you have entered all of the information you need in the Document [New] window, click Save. The font of the Documents tab will change to red, indicating that there are documents for the event. |
