While adding setup or staffing items to your event, a resource conflict may arise.  If there is a shortage of items required, the Item Resource Conflict window will appear, displaying the quantity of that item available and scheduling information for the relevant events.

Choose how to resolve the conflict by using one of the two buttons located at the bottom of the Item Resource Conflict window.

Click to Expand/Collapse TextAccept Required Quantity

Click the Accept Required Quantity button to ignore the resource conflict and continue with the quantity you selected for your current event, even if there is not enough of the item available in stock for both or all events.

Click to Expand/Collapse TextUse Available Quantity

Click Use Available Quantity to reduce the quantity of the item to the amount actually available in your stock (shown in the Item Resource Conflict window).  This may be 0 (zero) if you do not have any of the items remaining in stock.

Click to Expand/Collapse TextAvoid Resource Conflict Checking

To avoid conflict checking altogether, either enter the quantity as 0 (zero) when adding the item to an event, or set your stock to 0 (zero) when you initially enter the item in your resource inventory.

To review how you set up your item inventory, refer back to Chapter 1: Setting Up EventPro, Step 9: Resources.
