After you have booked an event, you will probably have to return to it a number of times to update the information and add new details.
1.In the Booking Calendar, you can select Event | Find from the Button bar. This will bring up the Find Event window.
2.To review how to search in a Find window, see Introduction: Common Functions, Finding a Record.
3.Note that you may not be able to see all of the events, depending on your location user rights. To view an event, you must have viewing rights to at least one location in the event. See 1: Setting Up EventPro, Step 10: User Rights, Creating User Right Groups: Location Rights.
4.Select the event from the selection grid and click OK. You will return to the Booking Calendar and the event will appear in the top Selection Grid.
5.You may also see the event in the Booking Calendar without having to search for it. You can double-click on the colored portion of a cell representing an event, or right-click on that colored portion and select Event | Go To.
6.If the event is one of multiple events in one cell on the Booking Calendar, you can click on the cell and view the multiple events in the top Selection Grid. In the Selection Grid, double-click on the event or right-click on the event and select Event | Go To.
7.Any of these actions described above will take you to the event in the Event Maintenance screen.
1.You can also click the Events button beside the Booking Calendar button to go directly to the Event Maintenance screen.
2.The event that appears in the Event Maintenance screen will be the event that was highlighted in the top selection grid of the Booking Calendar.
3.If no event is selected, the Find Event window will appear.
4.In the upper right corner of the Event Maintenance screen, you will see the Find Event button. Clicking it will take you to the same Find Event window as you accessed from the Booking Calendar.
5.Remember that you may not be able to see all of the events in the Find window, depending on your location user rights. To view an event, you must have viewing rights to at least one location in the event. See 1: Setting Up EventPro, Step 10: User Rights, Creating User Right Groups: Location Rights.
