Customer Information

When you created an event booking, you selected a company and contact from your database or created a new company and contact for the event.  When you return to the event in the Event Maintenance screen and click on the Customer tab, the contact information for that company and contact will appear.  You have the option now to edit company/contact information or select an entirely new company or contact.

1.View the relevant event in the Event Maintenance screen.  Click on the Customer tab.
2.In this screen, you will see the contact information for the company and default contact you selected when creating this booking.
3.Click on the Main sub-tab to see the main address and contact information for the company and contact, and click the Billing sub-tab to see the billing address.  This may be the same information.  If you selected an agent for this customer, the agent’s information will appear under the Agent sub-tab.  If you entered a Venue company/contact, that information will appear under the Venue sub-tab.
4.If you want to select a different Company under either the Main, Billing, Agent or Venue sub-tab (for example, if you need to send billing information to a parent company for a subsidiary company’s events), click on the ellipsis to the right of the field.
5.The Find Company/Contact window appears.  Select the relevant company and click OK.  If the new company belongs to a different discount group than the previous company, a Confirm box will ask if you want to update the discount group.  Another Confirm dialog box will ask if you want to reassign the communications and actions for the old company to the new company and default contact.
6.To select a different Contact for the Company in the top field, click on the ellipsis to the right of the Contact field. The Find CONTACT window appears.  Select your preferred contact from the list and click OK.
7.If you change the Venue company or contact, remember that it may change the address of the event location. Remember that when you set up Locations, you could choose where the Location's Address defaults from.  If you selected Event Venue Company or Event Venue Contact, the location's address for this event will default to the company or contact address you enter here.  Review Creating Location Groups and Locations above.

1.View the relevant event in the Event Maintenance screen.  Click on the Customer tab.
2.To create a new Company, under either the Main, Billing, Agent or Venue sub-tab, click on the ellipsis to the right of the field. The Find Company/Contact window appears.  Click the New button in the bottom left corner.  To review how to create companies and contacts, refer to Chapter 1: Setting Up EventPro, Step 6: Company/Contact.
3.If the new company belongs to a different discount group than the previous company, a Confirm box will ask if you want to update the discount group.  Another Confirm dialog box will ask if you want to reassign the communications and actions for the old company to the new company and default contact.
4.To create a new Contact for the Company in the top field, click on the ellipsis to the right of the Contact field. The Find CONTACT window appears. Click the New button in the bottom left corner.  To review how to create contacts, refer to Chapter 1: Setting Up EventPro, Step 6: Company/Contact.

1.View the relevant event in the Event Maintenance screen.  Click on the Customer tab and select the Main, Billing, Agent or Venue sub-tab.
2.Click the Edit Company button or the Edit Contact button.
3.The Company [Edit] or Company Contact [Edit] window will appear.
4.Make your required changes to the company or contact information.  To review how to fill out these fields, refer back to Chapter 1: Setting Up EventPro, Step 6: Company/Contact.
5.Click Save to save your change, or click Cancel to retain the original information.

1.View the relevant event in the Event Maintenance screen.  Click on the Customer tab and select the Main, Billing, Agent or Venue sub-tab.
2.Click the View Company button or the View Contact button.
3.The Company [View Only] or Company Contact [View Only] window will appear.
4.Click Close when you are finished viewing the information.
