Comments and Contract Notes

If you entered any event comments in the New Booking wizard while creating this booking, they will appear in the Event Maintenance screen under the Comments tab.

1.If you did not enter any comments while in the New Booking wizard, or want to now edit the comments you entered, click the Edit button on the right side of the screen.
2.EventPro's built-in, fully functioning word processor will open.

3.Type in any important event comments, such as general setup instructions, an itinerary or special requests from the customer.
4.If you want to use a document template that you have already created, select File | Load Template and choose the template.  To review how to create templates, see Chapter 12: Communications, Part B: Letter Templates.
5.Click the Save icon to save your notes, and they will appear under the Comments tab. Click the X in the upper right corner to close the Word Processor window.
6.You will see a preview of your comments under the tab.  If you used a template, the Comments tab will display the merged text in the fields.

7.You can later print these comments on their own or in the booking slip, event confirmation sheet and setup sheet, or you can enter them into a merge field in a letter template document.

The Contract Notes tab also allows you to create notes and information.  

1.Click the Edit button on the right side of the screen.
2.EventPro's built-in, fully functioning word processor will open.
3.Type in your contract notes.
4.If you want to use a document template that you have already created, select File | Load Template and choose the template.  To review how to create templates, see Chapter 12: Communications, Part B: Letter Templates.
5.Click the Save icon to save your contract notes. Click the X in the upper right corner to close the Word Processor window.
6.The notes will appear under the Contract Notes tab. If you used a template, the tab will display the merged text in the fields.
7.Later, you can print these contract notes or enter them into a merge field in a letter template document.
