Product Category
Product Categories allow you to categorize the exhibitor companies with which you do business according to their products, in order to facilitate searching and reporting. See Chapter 6: Exhibitors and Booths for more information about exhibitors.
The Product Categories 1 and 2 are separate and unlinked lists. In other words, the categories under Product Category 2 are not sub-headings under categories of Product Category 1. The separate lists allow you to keep the categories organized under shorter lists, if you prefer. Also, the product categories are not mutually exclusive; when you classify each product, you may select more than one category from both lists.

Select Setup | General Lookup Tables from EventPro's main menu. From the drop-down list in the top left corner, select Product Category 1 or Product Category 2.

Click the New button in the upper right corner.

In the Product Category [New] window that appears, enter the name of the category.

Click Save. Continue this process until you have defined all of the Product Categories that you think you will need.
