.Select Setup | General Lookup Tables from EventPro's main menu.  From the drop-down list in the top left corner, select Company Discount.
.Click the New button in the upper right corner.  The Company Discount [New] window appears.
.Enter the name of the Group and a Description.  You may want to use an abbreviation for the Group and the full name for the description.  For example, call the Group “GOVERN” and the description “Government”, or “NON-PROFIT” and “Non-Profit Organizations”.
.Choose whether you want the discount to be on Location, Setup, Staffing, Catering, Beverages, Packages, Accommodations or Miscellaneous. Click the appropriate tab.
.Enter a number for the Percentage of the discount.
.Using the Rounding drop-down list, define how EventPro should round off the value.
.Check the Discount to Cost? box to create a discounted price equal to your cost. For example, if the price of an LCD projector is $500 and your cost is $300, the discount would be calculated at $200 and the discounted price would be equal to the cost (or $300).
.If you want to create a custom discount equation for Location, Setup, Staffing or Beverages, check the appropriate boxes under Only apply discounts if and enter a value.
.Click Save.  Continue this process until you have defined all of the Company Discounts that you think you will need.  You can always return later to add more discounts.
