Attendee Types

Under Attendee Types, you can categorize the types of people likely to attend functions at your facility.

The Attendee Module is an optional module in EventPro.  If you have not purchased this module, you will not see the related tabs and screens.  If you are interested in previewing or purchasing the Attendee Module, please contact your nearest Sales Department.

1.Select Setup | General Lookup Tables from EventPro's main menu.  From the drop-down list in the top left corner, select Attendee Types.
2.Click the New button in the upper right corner.  The Setup Attendee Type [New] window appears.
3.The cursor will jump to the Attendee Type field.  Enter a name for this type of attendee.
4.If you like, you can enter a Default Sort Order number to determine the order of the Attendee Types.  The default sort order numbers will be copied to each event in the Attendee Types tab of the Event Maintenance screen, so that it is easy to locate the attendee types you want to assign to each event.
5.Check the Auto Add to All Events box if you want this type of attendee to be automatically available for each newly booked event.  You can also set up Attendee Types so that they will be automatically added according to Event Categories.  See Event Categories below
6.Check the boxes of the Default Attendee Classifications that might apply to this type of attendee.  If none of the classifications apply, you do not need to check any.
7.Click Save.
8.Continue this process until you have defined all of the Attendee Types that you think you will need. You can always return later to add more Attendee Types as you need them, but you will have to make them available to use in already created events.  Therefore, it is ideal to add all Attendee types now, if possible.
